Solid Air has a record year in 2007

Even after taking into account the positive benefits on turnover of their expanded product range Solid Air^® greatly exceeded sales of both their existing and new products and won several significant projects including 125 Old Broad Street (26 Floors of CV boxes and special linear slot diffuser) and 150 Cheapside (over 2,500 special luminaire diffusers).

The company continues to manufacture from the former Royair facilities in Honiton in Devon; import products from its parent company Nijburg Industry Group in Holland and to provide technical and sales support from their main office in Altrincham.

Several promotions and new appointments have been made as a result of their success, including Alex MacFarlane promoted to National Sales Manager; Tej Uppal appointed to cover the Midlands as their sales agent and Warren Hilton to internal sales estimator in their Altrincham HQ.

Colin Green, Director of Solid Air^® commented ‘we were delighted with the response of our customers to the introduction of the Royair range. We have greater flexibility in the UK now we have the two support centres and can offer more high quality products. It was a great effort by the whole team and we move into 2008 with plans to further enhance our range with better product selection software and printed materials. This will make it easier for HVAC consultants and design engineers to create highly effective solutions for their customers’ needs.
